With the start of the ceasefire, we at Zayir UK have revised our action plan to address the evolving needs of families in Lebanon.

Our mission is to provide maximum support as they work to rebuild their lives.


This plan is informed by extensive discussions with local authorities, community leaders, shelter leads, and medical facility representatives in Lebanon.

Needs Assessment

Displaced families face significant barriers preventing them from returning to their homes, even though active conflict has subsided. Here are the main challenges:

  1. Damaged Infrastructure
  2. Lack of Essential Utilities
  3. Harmful Chemicals
  4. Financial Limitations
  5. Harsh Winter Conditions
  6. Medical Crisis
  7. Psychological Trauma
  8. Loss of Family Members & Orphanhood

Through our needs assessment, we have identified only some of the many devastating impacts of the war and the significant challenges faced by families striving to return to their homes.

To address these urgent and ongoing needs, we have developed a comprehensive action plan that aims to provide both immediate relief and long-term support, ensuring families can rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
