Zayir UK is a charitable organization focused on providing humanitarian aid and support to vulnerable communities, particularly in Lebanon and other areas affected by conflict, poverty, or displacement. We work to deliver essential resources like food, shelter, medical care, and other forms of relief to those in need, especially families who have been displaced by crises or conflict.

Our journey began in 2016 as a registered charity in Lebanon, addressing the growing challenges of poverty and instability. In response to the devastating economic crisis in Lebanon that deepened in 2019, we expanded our efforts and, in 2021, launched Zayir UK to amplify support from the UK. Since then we have been able to sponsor around 1,000 families in need across Lebanon, as well as orphans, ensuring they have access to basic necessities and a chance at rebuilding their lives. Our efforts focus on both emergency relief and long-term support.

Our dedicated team of 150+ volunteers operates across six key locations in Lebanon: Beirut, Nabatiyeh, Saida, Tyre (Sour), Baalbek, and Hermel ensuring aid reaches those who need it most.

As the only Lebanese-focused charity in the UK we were the first to respond to stand with displaced families since the start of the current war. We have been fundraising for displaced families since October 2023 and continue to do so as the situation worsens.

Our mission revolves around showing solidarity and providing vital assistance to those who are suffering, ensuring that basic needs are met and lives can begin to rebuild.
